    Pros: Hilarious and witty

    Cons: Production values = crap

    Dr. Who meets Monty Python. Thats the best way to describe this witty and urbane adventure through the cosmos. Although this series takes great liberties with the original source material (the writer, Douglas Adams oversaw the production, so don'...t feel bad) the subversive humor of the books remains intact. The performances are spot on and is a must see for anyone who likes science fiction. If you can look past the cheaper-than-dirt sets and special effects, you'll have a great time! Read more Less

    You should not see this movie if you are afraid of towels, space travel, or white mice (they are after all the ones who really control things). This is an excellent example of a cult classic - which had its beginings as a book and is also represente...d well in this movie. This film is packed with excellent and strange humor, odd paradigms, and other strange reasons to belive. Don't take my word for it, I've only got 10 minutes until my world is bulldozed too!
