Pros: Great soundtrack, action-packed, Sean Bean's outstanding performance

Cons: Much more graphic violence

This remake of The Hitcher has true grit, a soundtrack that rocks, and Sean Bean who manages to turn in a tense, believable performance. I've probably seen the original with Rutger Hauer a half-dozen times, and it was always a nail-biting favorit...e of mine. But I must admit, Sean Bean gives this version an edgier feel because he just doesn't start out plain creepy! There'll be a few surprises if you're a fan of the original, and be prepared to see-it-all. That's all I'm saying!!! Read more Less
