I'll admit, I like gore movies..however, I almost reached my limit in this one! I think this is probebly the most goriest movie I have ever seen. There is a lot of blood and violence, I don't think someone with a weak stomach could stand to watch this movie. It started off kind of slow at first, but once they had gotten stranded things pick up rather quick. The mutated people in this movie are really messed up! If you like gore, this movies for you, however if your faint of heart, turn and walk no, run away!

Pros: Nice and gory. Better than Rob Zombie movies, but comparable.
Cons: Slow in the beginning.
Over all this was a very gory film that makes you ask "what it". It was a bit slow in the beginning, but it does pick up and is quite packed in the end.

Pros: There was maybe one scene in the whole movie that was good.
Cons: There so much more that this movie could have done! I thought it was crap!
Granted, I have never seen the orignal film, I must say, this was awful!! There is so much more that could have been added and done better in this film. The comericals are decieving. I found two scenes in this movie that were absoulutely terrible in the sense that they were not necessary to show as long as they did. The ending sucked! I have seen better B-Movies!! Makeup could have been done better. All in all this was a waste of time, and money to rent. I would not buy this movie and I'm glad I didn't.

I was good. I do have to say because of this movie, I will not be on any drive to the dessert. Anyway, I would go in half with a roommate to see this movie, I would not personally pay $12 for it. Maybe $6.
