In this comic mystery film, bumbling, small-town typesetter Luther Heggs tries to solve a murder so he can prove he has what it takes to become a reporter.     A wonderful comedy film for all fans of comedy giant Don Knotts. He has perfected his nervous man persona in this hilarious movie.

    I have loved this movie since the second I saw it. I don't know how many times I've seen it. This was Don Knotts' first film after his extremely successful role as Barney Fife. You will notice that there are a few familiar faces from Mayberry. So...me of the phrases are also quite reminiscent. If one phrase comes to mind from this movie, it's that cry, "And they used BON AMI!!!" Read more Less
