Synopsis: The Fury (1978)

    This work will get credit for being the tightly made, suspenseful film that it is. Acting was great (Cassavetes is splendid, and with Kirk Douglas around it can't be all that bad...Andrew Stevens hasn't done anything legitimate since, and Amy Irving... was excellent). The soundtrack, especially the opening credits grab your attenetion from the get-go, and the ending has been ripped off by many lesser films. This movie was out BEFORE "Scanners", and its impact is all the more impressive upon each viewing. Read more Less
