Expected follow-up to THE FLY.
THE FLY II has an interesting story about the son of the original fly (Jeff Goldbum) being born into cage-like conditions. He grows at an accelerated rate until his dormant mutant genes come alive turning him into a hideous monster. The love intrests in this don't work like they did in the first film. Oscar winner Chris Walas for the F/X on the first film takes the job of directing this sequel, and makes it a watchable fair that will entertain.
