    Very hard to find on DVD, the VHS version of this movie is worth picking up. This movie allowed Danny to explore the early jazz/scat scene of the 1920s with some of it's founders. More importantly it is about the love a father has for a daughter. ...Though "highly fictionalized", this movie proves Red Nichols was truely an unsung hero. Read more Less

    A stray from Kaye's usual comedy bits, this movie will bring a tear to your eye and a song in your heart. Armstrong and Kayes version of "When the Saints go Marching In" will have you singing along and the trouble with his family will have relating ...to this timeless tale of a real life man who gave up his dreams for his family.
