Synopsis: The First Power (1990)

Homicide Detective Logan chases Patrick Channing, a serial killer, through the city, following the clues that an anonymous woman, claiming to be psychic, leaves over the phone. With the last clue, he catches Channing, but against the psychic's wishes, puts him in the gas chamber. This act releases a force impossible to defeat.

    RESPECT IT. THE CHURCH SCENE IS GREAT. THE OPENING IS POWERFUL. THE MUSIC RULES.

    It was very predictable from the get-go. Acting was sub-par, from everyone including Lou-Diamond Phillips. I'm glad I didn't have to pay for it.
