The Figgs

The Figgs
Comprised of Saratoga Springs, NY, natives Mike Gent (guitar, vocals), Pete Donnelly (bass), Guy Lyons (lead guitar), and Pete Hayes (drums), the Figgs specialize in bright punk-pop, with an accent on the pop; their roots lie in Elvis Costello, the Jam, and Graham Parker, not the Buzzcocks. The band released their debut album, Lo Fi at Society High, in 1994 and followed with Bando Macho in 1996. Four year later, Sucking in Stereo was released.
