Soft rock revival combo the Feeling formed in London in 2005. Frontman Dan GillespieSells, guitarist Kevin Jeremiah, keyboardist Ciaran Jeremiah, bassist Richard Jones, and drummer Paul Stewart openly embraced the middleoftheroad pop of Supertramp, 10cc, and Elton John, decrying the influence of more traditionally hip cult acts in the process. After issuing their debut single, "Fill My Little World," in late 2005, the Feeling cracked the U.K. Top Ten the following spring with the followup, "Sewn," a record championed by BBC Radio 1 personality Chris Moyles. The band's debut LP, Twelve Stops and Home, peaked at number two that summer.
