    The Fall of the Roman Empire. This movie depicted the clash between Roman Emperor Commodus long before The Gladiator came ontothe screen. The story is nearly identical,with the exception that the love between Maximus and Commodus' sister (Loren) is...developed here. If you rather not see allthe gladiator maim scenes, this is a betterstory. The picture quality and sound ofcourse, is not as state of the art as TheGladiator. Read more Less
