About The Exceptions
The Chicagobased group the Exceptions not to be confused with similarlynamed outfits in other cities was formed at the end of the 1950's by 15yearold Marty Grebb, a drummer and multiinstrumentalist, and his high school friend Peter Cetera, who played bass. Another key member of the outfit was guitarist/singer Kal David, whose name was sometimes put on the front end of their billing, as Kal David The Exceptions.
