    though i only saw the last half of the movie, i have rarely seen such a captivatingly bizarre movie touching on a subject that truly intrigues me. the relationship between genius and madness is touched on in a very abstract, yet poignant manner, and... the film deserves one's undivided attention. something that inspires deep contemplation over many aspects of the human mind and the possibility for greatness as well as inhumanity. the cinematography is absolutely beautiful and the acting (specifically of norman rodway) is, if nothing else, awe-striking. a must see for the intuitive mind.
