Roots & Influences
The Dynatones are a San Francisco-based blues/soul band, a mainstay of the local circuit. The group worked and recorded as solid backup behind Charlie Musslewhite in the early '80s, then made the transition to a more RB-oriented format with numerous personnel changes by the mid '80s. Continuing to write, record and tour to this day, The Dynatones are probably best experienced live, but all their recordings are worth checking out.
