I find kate and douglas a living legend in terms of partnership in figure skating, they have that "fire" and chemistry as a partner and a lover

this movie is one of the best movies i've seen in a good while! its a movie you can see over and over again and not get sick of it! D.B. sweeney and Moira Kelley are excellent in it, and couldn't have been better! Rent the movie someday! You'll love it!

I love this film! From the first time I saw it, its one of those you just want to watch again and again! D B Sweeney is electrifying and Moria Kelly, is perfect from the role of Kate!

First time i saw this movie i fell in love with it.Moira Kelly was wonderful and D.B. Sweeney was just the right complement for her.My girlfriend watched it for the first time just recently when i bought the DVD and she absolutely adored it.She never thought i guy like me could appreciate such a film!Scored some points in the "ideal man" meter in the process.toe pick!

Sometimes you need to temper the seriousness of drama with humor and good feeling on the screen, and this film fits the bill. Light hearted entertainment at it's best, with just a touch of heart tugging sprinkled throughout. A laugh and a smile feed the soul. Toe pick, indeed!

Guys, this movie... I bought it almost by accident and... ended up watching it eight times in four days. It is absolutely addicting. I know of people who have been watching it thirty and more times. I can make you sure I've been watching hundreds of movies in my life, both American and European (I'm Italian), but the only other movie that (almost) made me feel so emotionally shaken for days (and the sensation is wonderful) was "Walk Don't Run," an old movie with Cary Grant. The chemistry between Doug and Kate is incredibly enjoyable. I don't care what critics may define as masterpieces, but if the goal of a movie is to get you involved emotionally, man... this movie is definitely a masterpiece. Believe you me, it's the only movie for which I spent time and energy to write down a review.

I saw this film at midday on t.v because i was too lazy to get up, and it was one of the best films i've seen, ever. It was surprisingly funny, and the friction between D.B Sweeney and Moira Kelly was incredible. A 'romantic drama' sounds awful, but in reality it is a brilliant film, and i really got into it, i was laughing out loud, and i could actually feel my heart beating in some of the more tense scenes with Kelly and Sweeney. I'm going to buy this.

If you like funny dramas, then this is your movie. It will make you laugh, and cry, and you will be glued to your tv set. Enjoy. I have it on Laserdisc and VHS, and if they ever become smart and make it on DVD, guess who will get the first copy?

If you like romantic comedies you'll love this movie, even if you can't stand ice skating. Actually, it might be better if you're not an ice skating fan as the skating scenes are pretty mediochre.
Both DB Sweeny and M.Kelly shine in this movie and play the parts of two stubborn athletes forced to work together. The outcome is predictable, but who cares, it's still a fun movie... "finger painting!?"Was this review helpful? Yes - No
