The aluminum-clad bottom provides for even heat distribution. Tempered glass cover has a stainless steel rim and handle. Cooking temperatures are maintained automatically with the Control Master heat control. Skillet is fully immersible with the heat control removed.

    Pros: worked, was gift

    Cons: feet broke after first use

    Sorry, but plastic feet broke in sink after first use. Do not know value since was gift, but this seems like poor quality assurance testing. Dinner was good - wife made quesadillas. But we won't even bother to try to get replacement.
