Synopsis: The Conqueror (1956)

This lavish costume drama, which emphasizes the spectacular and the epic, is loosely based on the life of the Mongol conqueror Genghis Khan. Acts of revenge and clan battles were practically de rigueur in 12th Century China and no one was better at winning wars and building an empire than the legendary Khan.

    Cons: susan heyward - wayne play a jap

    Susan heyward F'ed this movie up!!! you can tell from the first scene she sucks!!! if your a john wayne fan you must get this on DVD - it is one hell of a comedy!! it is one of the most f'ed up movies of all time!!! i gess it could of bee...n worse - then could of got Don knotts for the role!!!
