The Stockholm-based pop collective the Concretes was formed in 1995 by vocalist Victoria, guitarist Maria, and drummer Lisa; over the course of three years, they added guitarist Markus, bassist Martin, balliani player Per, trumpeter Ulrik, and vocalist/harmonica player Malte. Malte and Per play in other bands in the Stockholm scene, while Maria and Victoria are art school students, and Lisa works at one of the city's graphic design firms.
