The Chimes were the first group whom the legendary William "Smokey" Robinson crooned and doo wopped with, and are not to be confused with Chicago's Five Chimes. Like any upstart group, members changed frequently, but the original lineup included Robinson, Clarence Dawson, James Grice, Donald Wicker, and Warren "Pete" Moore.
