Jim Carrey!!! what else can i say? He is the best actor in the world!!! Out does all of his movies and outdoes the fellow cast members. He is a shinning star!!! Hiliarious.

If you are a Carrey fan like i am then this movie will erase all doubts of his acting ability. Jim plays the part almost to well. There is nothing in this movie that takes away from the fact that Jim Carrey is the King of Comedy and every other genre as well. Bravo Jim.......

And I say that without seeing the brand new film where Jim portrays Andy Kaufman. The Cable Guy springs from Carrey's own deliciously sick little mind, so there's no copy-catting of factual events here. Don't we all know guys like this? So lost in their own worlds, and they latch on to you, follow you around assuming you are their buddies. No one sees him like you do. Matthew Broderick has a patent on the nice guy/victim of circumstances. It is as funny as it is sad. You might just look at this as a peek inside Carrey's head. He strikes me as a guy that has spent countlees hours alone, as a child as well as adult, dabbling in this and thousands of other characters, keeping himself very entertained. Cable would be on my list of occasional rentals.
