I just have to say "Damn the bubble boy is so sexy" and the acting through out the howl movie was great! course anything with Jake Gyllenhaalin it is going to be good! what I would do just to meet him he is such a GREAT actor.

ok yea i guess it some what really cruel to make fun of diseased people. (but it really wasnt) but, hence the comedy part. you don't go see a movie to get mad at the writers. you go see this movie to laugh and fall in love. the way i see it is that j...immy was a really good person. i dont think the mother should of tooken it affencive. i mean in the movie it showed how nice jimmy was. it just goes by the moral, and the moral wasnt that "oh people with a few difficulties is fun to laugh at" it was that no matter what happens you should keep going. and jimmy was just the person to show that with his difficulties. Jake Gyllenhaal was an exellent, and in my opinion the most outstanding, actor in this movie, as well as many of the others. The soundtrack was upbeat and fun. And above all, it made me laugh. I can't believe people are so whiney that they pretend... to take offense from something that was made to make people laugh. If that's what it's for, then let go, and watch it, have some laughs. If not, then don't watch it at all, and let those of us who will and have enjoy this film do so. We don't need whiners giving it a bad rep. Read more Less

I wouldn't say it looks like a "crude comedy", but rather an amusing flick detailing this kids adventures trying to capture his crush! C'mon, everyone is so sensitive to things and the mother probably just want a cut of the profits. Besides, it has... Babu from Seinfeld in it, Mini Me, Fabio (special appearance with his hair!) and Beetlejuice from Howard Stern. I'm sure people with a sense of humor will enjoy it! Besides, he gets to score the girl of his dreams! Now that makes for a true, happy American movie! Read more Less

This movie makes you dumber if you watch more than three times your probably going to have to got a mental home. Well if you watch more than once your problay already mentaly unstable. Stupid movie Stupid characters Stupid plot Stupid idea.
