Synopsis: The Brothers Mcmullen (1995)

Synopis: Three Irish-Catholic brothers living in Long Island--a "serious" Catholic worried about his relationship with a Jewish woman, a steadfast husband having an affair, and a commitment-phobe being pressured by a girlfriend--talk over their romantic entanglements. The 27-year-old writer-director-producer-star, Ed Burns, won the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance for this debut.

This movie worked for me because it took a person's viewpoints about love at different times in their life and broke them down to three individual perspectives shown to the audience by the three brothers. One brother is being pressured into marriage, one is flirting with having an affair, and one is trying to decide on what being in love really means to him. An excellent movie for anyone who has ever been in any one or all three of these situations. ...
