   This excellent film follows both sides of a fight for a vital bridge into Germany. Excellent performances all around! The film depicts the desperation of the German garrison fighting a war they are clearly losing. The battle scenes are excellent and all the hardware looks real. The actors portray the desperation and fatigue of this viscious struggle superbly. A heroic last stand or a tragic waste? You decide ...
