Greatest Classic Movie
Pros: Great Acting

This was the best movie of its time. With its great actors and teen theme, it became an instant classic! I would suggest buying it as fast as you can!

the first time i saw this movie i didn't like it. that was probably because i was like ten years old and didn't understand it.
i watched it with my friend a couple months ago and realized what a great movie it is.
it's about a few high school kids who all got saturday class: a jock, a prep, a nerd, a crazy chick, and a punk rocker guy, and at first they all ofcoarse hate eachother because they're all in different groups of friends.
by the end they all learn that everybody, no matter what high school clique they fit into, has problems and they learn to be friends kind of.

Yes, the untimate Brat Pack movie is one of my all-time favorites. Maybe because ever 25 years after high school I can still relate to all of these characters: the shy social misfit, the tough-guy with the chip on his shoulder the size of Gibralter, the cheerleader, the jock, the nerd. I can't relate to the teacher at all. The kids are is Saturday school for crimes real or imagined against society. They find unlikely alliances and make unlikely friends - one only hopes that they are able to smile at each other when school resumes Monday. A film of hurt and hope, angst and compassion. Fabulous!

After seeing this movie for the first time in the mid 90s I instantly fell in love. I didn't understand all of the plot and jokes that were made, but it became my favorite movie. Today, as an adult, I understand - more than I probably should - the jokes and the way the teens in the film felt, and it is still my favorite movie.
Not intended for collar-choked business men or little old ladies, but perfect for that 17-year-old in you waiting to come out, and for the trouble makers that some of us were (looks around innocently), it brings back memories of what we could have only hoped detention would have been like.Was this review helpful? The Breakfast Club is an obvious classic. There is still not a nerd as cool as Anthony Michael Hall and these five characters are the greastest cobination of comedy, drama, and issues. Anyone can relate to one of these characters. It's fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

i think that this movies was so good because it can stand the test of time. it teaches children about differences about one another and themselves. i think the music rock and i love 16candles also. they just dont seem to make movies like they use to. please make more movies like this...

The first time I saw The Breakfast Club, I was in my 9th grade class in high school. I laughed so loud and so much that the teacher next door came into our classroom to see what was going on. When the bell rang, the students were still sitting in their seats all into the movie. The other students came in to the room and stood watching the movie also. I loved it so much back then and I still do. I don't think there has ever been or ever will be another movie as funny as this original movie. The best part of this movie was that the actors and actresses totally fit into their characters by their looks, styles, etc. All the characters haven't changed a bit except for Anthony. When I saw him in the new series show he's in I couldn't believe my eyes. Wait a go guys and gals. Great job!

Where do I start? I love the movie in it's entirity. It is brillant. I love the fact that the entire movie takes place inside the school. I am a huge 80's fan and this movie sums it all up. I marvle at how truly this movie depicts the issues teens really faced in the time, and the issues teens face now. Each school has social groups, each group can't stand authority, each person wonders why they feel alone. We all need each other. Oh, I LOVE YOU EMILIO!
