He goes on an overnight binge, meets a beautiful waitress also named Annie, and blacks out. Eighteen months later he is living in New York. Although he is also sober and attending AA meetings, his thoughts drift back to Miami and the two Annies of his previous life. When he goes back to Miami, he finds an unexpected surprise waiting for him.
