Very Funny
I love it. It's a feel-good, genuinely funny movie.

Definitely a good silly comic romp without relenting to popular American comic gags (i.e. flatulence, obesity, giggling silicon in bikinis, and spotty pubescent sexual frustration lived out in a 1968 BelAir).

If you don't know, Craig Ferguson (who plays the lead role) plays Mr. Wick on the Drew Carey show. I'd always suspected he had a particularly funny side, particularly during the one live broadcast show they did with all the ad lib'ing.
Anyway, I was shockingly pleased with his performance here, as well as the performances of his highly talented co-stars. One of my favorites was "Stig Ludwigsen" played by the former star of the off-beat comedy series "Sledgehammer" -- just for his absolutely unbridled ego -- it's hard to pull that off straight but with a dry humor hidden beneath the edges.
And just the whole concept of getting his "HAG" card was particularly funny given the trials and tribulations of my wife who knows all about the similarly ridiculous difficulties of getting a SAG (screen actors' guild) card. In order to get it he has to go do hairstyling at an amusement park kids' show. The part where they subtlely lay into the has-been method actors who are the cast of that show is hilarious.
Anyway, this movie is fantastic from beginning to end, and will be one of the first to christen my DVD library as soon as I get a DVD player.Was this review helpful? Yes - NoOne word...BORING
