He sets out on a quest to destroy the villainous cult leader Maax, who engages in human sacrifice and murdered Dar's parents. Along the way, he meets an assortment of other adventurers, and the motley crew helps Dar bypass the many trials he must endure before he can confront Maax. THE BEASTMASTER was made during the early 1980s craze for fantasy adventure films, and still stands as one of the most popular. It was directed by cult filmmaker Don Coscarelli (PHANTASM, BUBBA HO-TEP).

    This movie is, by far, one of the best films ever made. Monsters, super powers, plot, and excellent cinamatagraphy. If your looking to excape to another world, i recomend this one.
