The Atomic Bitchwax is the side project of Monster Magnet lead guitarist Ed Mundell, ex-Godspeed bassist/vocalist Chris Kosnik, and drummer Keith Ackerman. After almost seven years of jamming in their spare time, this New Jersey trio released their self-titled debut album in the summer of 1999. The band specializes in high-octane '70s hard rock with stabs of psychedelia. Their second LP, II, followed in late 2000.
