The Art Attacks were a short-lived post-punk band from Britain that combined the talents of drummer J.D. Haney, guitarist Steve Spear, bassist M.S., and vocalist Edwin Pouncey (aka the cartoonist Savage Pencil). The band cut their teeth by playing London's ~Vortex frequently; in fact, their second recorded appearance was on 1977's Live at the Vortex compilation.
