Pro Reviews: Thank God for Busy Bee

  • All Music Guide

Known for his charismatic and humorous approach to rhyming, MC Busy Bee did things properly and brought together some of the best production talent in the world for this record. World-class producer Diamond D produced four of the 16 tracks on the album, from the slow smooth bass lines of "Get With Me" to the more upbeat "I Got Things Sewed" to the almost G-funk-sounding "My Personality." Other influential artists featured here include Grandmaster Melle Mel, Kid Capri, and Jazzy Jay.
