He has come a long way since his starting days at Cash Money, this CD shows it. He has matured so much as a rapper, its amazing. Lyrics are great, The Carter II may be one of the best CD's of the year. Is Weezy becoming the next Jay Z?

I liked Lil' Wayne since Tha Block is Hot, but when he came out wit Tha Carter, i saw a completely different Weezy. I thought that album was classic. Tha Carter II didn't disappoint me. He has much more sampled beats on this one than his others, but he still maintains a dirty south flow. Weezy F. Baby, please say da Baby!!! I love Shooter because he basically puts the entire south on his back and defends it. He did his thing!!!

Weezy is the king of South, no doubt. His last joint was bangin with the Hot Boyz, and this isno different. His freestyles are off the hook (check out BM Jr). He reaches out to former hot boyz members in "I miss my dawgs". This album also as the best one-liners of any cd you'll ever see. I can't wait for the next one.

personaly im a big fan of the OLD cash money like 400 degreez and gurllia warfare and i havent been checking CMB out since my nigga juvie left, but i did cop this cd after hearing go dj and i must say lil wayne "brings it back to tha bottom othe map" with this one i mean the boy grew up and proves he is the hottest rapper rite over 21 killa tracks

First off, I don't even really listen to down south rap, but after listening to this album you can see that they have more to offer than just booty shake music. Lil' Wayne comes with the heat. From the intro to the outro, the album is fire. You must go cop this one.
