Mansfield, Texas emo rockers Terminal were known as "Letter Twelve" before they signed with Seattle's Tooth Nail in 2004. But the name change didn't dilute the quintet's earnest blend of emoinflected, triumphant modern rock, a sound that also had a Christian influence. Terminal's lineup included vocalist Travis Bryant, guitarists James Erwin and Matt Lucas, drummer Ryan Conley, and bassist Lucas Starr. They made their Tooth Nail debut with How the Lonely Keep in June 2005, and embarked on an extensive tour with fellow TN act Anberlin.
