    Good luck getting it to work

    Pros: When it works it works good

    Cons: Very short battery life, impossible to setup

    The batteries that came in the thing lasted literaly 1 day, I went out and bought a 20 pack of duracells which I just put in the last pair. The worst problem is just getting the thing to connect to the laptop. I will hit connect and it says connecte...d but nothing happens. Tried the drivers from targus and it changed my BT config and said I no longer had a liscence for it, so it completely disabled my BT. When I finaly got it working, by reinstalling everything BT related and a little luck, worked great. I reinstalled windows several months later and now I cant get it to connect for anything.     Cons: Battery life, warm-up time

    I have had this mouse for a little over one month, and am now having to put in it's third set of batteries. I am getting about two weeks of battery life under low usage (one hour a day). (Other posters at CNET forums have claimed only two days of... battery life with heavy usage.) The battery life is only one of the major problems. It takes 10-15 seconds for the mouse to "warm-up" and start talking with my laptop when it hasn't been used for a while. Those first 15 seconds I have to point the cursor using my laptop's touch pad. I did not see any other reviews claiming this problem, so it might be related to the fact that I'm using a Belkin bluetooth adapter to talk to the Targus mouse, instead of the adapter that came with the mouse itself--but I have not confirmed that. In summary, stay away from this mouse at all costs--unless you can afford to change out the AAA batteries every two weeks. Read more Less
