Tar
An incredibly tight noise rock band in the tradition of Helmet and the Jesus Lizard, Tar are based in Chicago, and recorded their first album Roundhouse, in Minneapolis for Amphetamine Reptile Records. The band (guitarist/vocalist John Mohr, drummer Mike Greenlees, guitarist Mark Zablocki, and bassist Tom Zaluckyi) moved to Touch and Go for a 1993 EP and their second full-length, Toast. Tar broke up in 1995.
