    Mr. T-to-E-to-the-V-to the-I-to the-N showed the world that at the age of 14, he was grown enough to handle a Prince song and he succeeded. He also showed the world that he can sing any song that you can give him and he will sing it like he's g...rown-guess what? he succeeded there too. "T.E.V.I.N." is a gold mine with hearthrob songs that showed expression coming from a youngster.There is so much emotion coming from this album. Every song rocks. Get this! Grade: A- Read more Less

    If T.E.V.I.N. had been recorded by an adult instead of a teenager, the album would still be impressive, but the fact that Tevin Campbell was only fourteen years old when this was made makes it all the more amazing. Campbell's voice is remarkably expressive, able to handle both ballads and uptempo dance tracks without losing confidence. When he has the right material -- like the hit single, Prince's "Round and Round" -- the results are flawless; if the material is weak, he's merely enjoyable.
