I own 4 of these TV's and just love them. An excellent quality TV at a great price.

Pros: The fact that we got 2 for the price of one

    Cons: We like paper manuals

Upon connecting the set we noticed how smaxk clear it was, mind you, we have an older Toshiba to compare with, so that's not the best comparison. We did like the Sony and Sharp models in the store, but for twice the price, the picture sure wasn&...#39;t anywhere near twice as good. Now for the big living room set, we are going to get the Olevia top of the line set in a few weeks. We bought stock in the company after buying the first set and feel that our $1,250 investment in 2,000 shares will easily pay for our TV's in the next year. Kind of like our own insurance / replacement policy. Read more Less

Pros: Great Picture and great price

Cons: Can't control turning TV off with cable box remote

We bought this TV for a teenager's room and couldn't be happier. She loves it mounted on the wall and the picture quality is great. Only issue is the cable remote control won't turn the TV off and on and you have to get a special (expensi...ve) remote to make that work. Read more Less

Pros: Excellent Construction, Qaulity Picture, Runs Cool.

    Cons: none

I purchased this TV after thanksgiving, the materials used in the television is made from very durable compounds, unlike the the rigid crackable and easily scrathable plastics used in other TV's like Vizio. The television runs cool, unlike LG br...ands which run very hot. The picture is amazing crisp and fast, unlike Sony which has that fake enhanced sheen to it, everytime I look at a sony, I feel like I'm watching a cartoon. If you'll looking for a well priced, excellent TV. This is it. Read more Less

    Good Picture - Lacks quality

    Pros: Good Picture Quality

    Cons: Poor user interface experience

You get what you pay for with this product. I first bought the product for the bargain that I thought it was but soon came to the realization that I compromised quality for price. While the picture is good, the setup and was defintely not simple. Th...eir software for the user interface is definitely primitive and has bugs. The remote works intermittently (mostly it does not work). The problems I have found is the television does not respond approriately to keypresses for the remote. The remote will either not respond or processes more key presses than desired. I called tech support concerning this issue and they sent me another remote which still does not work. Working in software myself I recognize that the response is due to faulty software. The technical support guy at Olevia in as much confessed to the faulty software blaming it on the engineers in Taiwan. One ony has to do a search in Google for "Olevia Remote Problems" to come up with scores of bulletin boards deatiling the problems I jus described. Overall I would suggest the buyer to purchase a TV from a more reputable and reliable manufacturer. Read more Less
