Pretty good...
, March 18, 2001Reviewer: Kevin M - See all Kevin M's reviewsBut it was made around the same time as Excalibur and it is nowhere near as good as that movie.This is basically the story of a kitchen boy made into a knight after none of King Aurthur's round table hero's take up a challenge thrown down by a giant.After accepting the challenge Authur makes the boy a knight and he does what the giant asks(not going to tell you what the challenge is).After he does this,the giant gives him one year to figure some things out before it's death to him.Over-all a pretty good movie if you like sword and scorcery type flicks.

Pros: The Actors were great and loved story line
Cons: 80's effects
This movie if modernized would be one of the greats and it already is a classic to me.Keeps up with Willow and almost as good as Princess Bride.
