First off, I completely disagree with ewood16. There's more I would say about it, but I really don't feel like creating a new account once they terminate mine for going off the wall.You have no idea what the definition of a good movie is, and... you had no idea how you sounded describing the plot that has somehow buried itself into your head. Because it is very fake. I encourage anyone and everyone to see this movie. She was not a slut- she was brilliant- giving a chance to so many when she knew it would be her last gift. I'm assuming you're a guy, and I feel truly sorry for the guy who believes a girl is a slut when she is willing to give up everything she has to make someone happy. Maybe it's passion? Or- dare I say it- love? Charlize was brilliant in this movie, and will be brilliant in those to come. Hey- did you know she got her start as she was fighting with a banker to cash her check? Look beyond the surface- it may look like she was trying to rob it- as in the movie, she was not a slut but making a better life for someone else. Good movie, great movie- go see it. Read more Less

A VERY GOOD FILM

It is a very good movie. It really moved me to tears. The whole story was well thought out and directed/acted. I have reservations about the end when Sarah was allowed to leave knowing that she will die alone. Keanu should not have allowed her to lea...ve but should have stayed with her assuring her that no matter her last state she will remain in his mind as he first fell in love with her. This would have enabled him give her a good burial when the ultimate happens. I wish to sincerely congratulate the Director, staff and the actors for a good film. It is my favourite film.Thank you. As soon as I saw this movie I knew it was going to be one of my favorites. In fact, it became my favorite movie of all time. I love everything about it. The plot, feel, music, actors (esp. Michael Rosenbaum- I'm a BIG fan of his) fit together to make... a fabulous movie. I love movies where you can just cry and this is one of them- or at least for me. I recommend this wonderful movie for anyone that is looking for a movie that no words can describe and capture the entire essence of it. Read more Less

Sweet Noveber has to be one of the best love movies out there. You get sucked in to the plot, and can feel the love and pain of this movie. I absolutely recommend it to anyone and everyone. It's my #1 favorite.

Keanu is getting better and better

When speed came out I figured Keanu was going to be a one hit wonder. I really did not think he had what it takes to make it to the next level. My judgement was off on this one.Keanu is getting better with each performance. Sweet November completed t...he cirlce for Keanu in my book. From the Matrix to Sweet November. The guy is solid.Sweet November is a movie that will make you laugh and make you cry. Some of the feelings and emotions displayed made me think about some of the things going on in my life. To steal a phrase this movie makes me want to be a better man.Watch this movie if you have the ability to cry and feel some of the wonderful emotions the movie has to offer. One of the worst movies ever

My girlfriend talked me into going to see this and I went b/c I love Charlize. I cannot begin to explain my disappointment in this HORRIBLE flick. Not only was the acting pathetic (with the exception of Charlize's gay pals who were sort of funny), th...e story was one of the worst I can remember. Anyone who thinks that what Charlize was doing in the movie was SWEET or comendable is missing the point that she was nothing but a SLUT! Albeit a dying slut, but whatever. The makers of this movie were obviously hoping that bringing as much overdone sappy crap to this movie as possible would make it an emotional tear jerker for the audience, but anyone who cried for either of the two main characters here needs to have a reality check, and his or her head examined. Anyway, I just couldn't resist writing down my contempt for this movie. Hopefully if I can save just one poor soul from going to rent this, then I will have made some good out of my horific experience with this movie. Go watch grass grow instead, it will be more entertaining than this piece of garbage movie. Read more Less
