    Solid release

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Jun 21, 2002

This isn't my favorite GK album, but it's solid. The best thing about the album is that the production and music are the most concise and coherent to date, even though I like the other two albums better. Track 6-8 show the great GK style that I was l...ooking for on Superstarved. Although a few tracks aren't highly original, it's solid. Read more Less

It's new stuff for these guys

By Yahoo! Shopping User  May 28, 2002

It seems a good album even for the hardcore GK fans. the edge is still there. There is an obvious change in production, but nothing very noticable is lost. They are tryig very hard to break their own mold and do some actual groungbreaking. I love the... Personal Jesus cover. It's a nice nod to a song that was good in its own right. Read more Less

    Great album

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Feb 2, 2002

After a 4 years since their last album, many may have given up on the St. Louis group, but their 3rd release is their best work to date. Recorded in Chicago with legendary producer Martin Atkins, Superstarved is a hard rock machine with no intent of... stopping. The Album opens with 'Love, Sex and Money' and instantly the listener is pulled into the driving guitar and hypnotic vocals. Highlights of the album include 'Fifteen Minutes', 'Forget Your Name', 'One Thing', and a great cover of the Depech Mode classic, 'Personal Jesus'. An album not to be missed. Read more Less
