More mellow? Only in a sarcastic way.

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Oct 16, 2001

Not as punk as their debut, not as powerful as their sophomore, but Supergrass's third album is still a pop gem. Heading in a more pseudo-soft psychedelic pop direction, Supergrass turn out even more beautiful songs. "Moving," "Your Love," "What We...nt Wrong (In Your Head)," "Mary," "Jesus Came From Outta Space," and "Pumping On Your Stereo" are the best of this wonderful album Read more Less

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Jul 23, 2001

This album gives me such a natural high, and there's such a strong addiction to it. Anyone who's anyone will love it, even if they are not a true supergrass fan.

My CD (not so big...) CD collection would not be the same without this album! MUCH better than it's predasessor but only marginally better than I Wanna Gogo.

Supergrass's latest album is great. Supergrass is to the Rolling Stones what Oasis is to the beatles: A modern band with a similair, but in this case, much much better, sound. This is a crescent fresh album. The best tracks are Moving, What went Wrong..., and Pumping on your Stereo Read more Less

A solid band continues to deliver

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Aug 3, 2000

While many other "Brit" bands from the mid-90's have stumbled, Supergrass once again produces extremely catchy rock. "Supergrass" continues to see their music mature from the kinetic pop of their first album and the heavy tones of "In It For The Mon...ey" towards solid rock with great riffs and melodies. Its great to see one of the "freshman class of 94" continue to pound out quality tunes where others have paused (Pulp) or fizzled (Elastica). I got this after hearing "Mary" which is now one of my all time faves. There's a lot of other excellent songs like "Pumpin On Your Stereo", "Moving", "Your Love", and "What Went Wrong". The album features a pop sound but without being annoying - a l...a Blur.http:/

    Their albums keep getting better!

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Apr 24, 2000

Supergrass has evolved into a band worthy of "superstar" status; but people on this side of the Atlantic don't know it yet! This isn't an album of "singles", but a complete package of music in the classic album sense, like Dark Side of the Moon or S...gt. Pepper's. I'm not trying to say that this album is better than these, but that there is excellent songwriting and performing from start to finish, and no "filler".Although Supergrass has had singles success in the UK, their strength lies in their excellent performance, songwriting and originality; as well as the fact that they seem to strive to re-invent themselves without having to rely on a formula of any kind. Definitely worth checking out. A good first album would be their last one, "In it for the Money", which is also available in the States. Read more Less
