From the get go, this movie rocks. It will have you in stitches all the way through. And it is even funnier the second, third ... time around.

Unbelievably funny! Syrup-chugging, bird-flipping jesters/state troopers duke it out with their rivals, the local police department. Outlandish humor guaranteed to have you laughing through the entire film. A superb premiere from Broken Lizard!

A friend of mine ended up renting it and I figured it would be a really stupid film so I almost didn't watch it. Saw the cover and it was distributed by Fox Searchlight so figured I'd give it a try.
This is one of THE funniest movies ever. I laughed my ass off. Its stupid, crude yet increadibly funny but most of all it has heart. I've seen it like three times already.
The fact that its a part of my "Movies worth owning" hotlist should say it all. Thats one of the highest compliments I can give a film. Well worth your time.Was this review helpful? Yes - No1..2..3...DO IT!
This is now in my top 5 movies that I have ever seen. This ranks right below Strange Brew. If your looking for a funny adult R rated film than this is the one for you. So if you need a movie and want to laugh rent Super Troopers its a hit.

This was one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. They were not afraid to offend and it worked beautifully. This is what we need, More in your face crazy comedy that brings it to ya. I laughed so hard I need to watch again to see the parts I couldn't hear over my own laughter. My gut was sore the next day I laughed so much. Have fun and be in the mood for a stupid humor crazy movie.

Dumb and Dumber was DUMB too, but it is a comedy classic . . .
I had no idea what to expect when we rented this DVD. WOW! Hilarious. Finally a movie with some witty humor mixed in with some in-your-face slapstick. I really liked the adult humor and applaud this group of guys for a refreshingly funny movie. This is WAY better than The Royal Tenenbaums (which I thought was awful) and any other comedy out this year except for Austin Powers . . . I'm sorry but this moving was really stupid. The first 5 minutes were pretty good, then it just got stupid. I turned it off after 15 minutes.

I was completely surprised that I ended up loving Super Troopers. I laughed the entire time and couldn't wait to pre-order the DVD, which is suppose to have a ton of hilarious extra takes and extended scenes, as well as an alternate ending. I can only imagine the DVD bonuses.
The movie itself is about 5 Vermont State Troopers who spend their days playing pranks on each other, chugging syrup and terrifying locals. Their antics are absolutely side-splitting and the one-liners reign supreme.

I LOVED this movie! I heard there was nudity in it, but I absolutely do not remember seeing any! Maybe that's because I spent most of the time wiping tears from my eyes, trying- usually in vain- to catch my breath! I couldn't have laughed harder! I saw it 4 times and CAN'T WAIT to get it on DVD! MEOW!

When a friend of mine gave me an advanced release copy of this movie on DVD the other week, I had never heard of it. The premise, seemed, a bit ill-conceived, to me. However, was I wrong. This movie brings to common knowledge the lighter side of a highway patrolman's job, their relationships with city cops, and how they want to have fun on the job, too. I highly recommend anyone who has not seen this movie, to pick it up the day it comes out. You'll laugh so hard that it will hurt.

I loved this movie when I saw it in theatres. It's a film you got to see with a bunch of friends. Definitely a movie you can watch hosting some friends over. A must see. I know I'm going to buy this movie.

The tv trailer for this movie didn't come close to giving this movie the credit it deserves. Based on the trailer I figured it would be another "Dumb and Dumber" but decided to go watch it anyway. I ended up seeing it 3 times in the theater dragging as many different friends as I could, then they took their friends as well and soon everyone around me would be quoting this movie and laughing their hearts out. Very well written, the jokes are not over-played or over-emphasized. Also they aren't something you'd see in any other movie I can think of. Wonderfully original, with tons of laughs every minute. The *only* thing this movie could have done without was the scene where Farva is being hosed down... but come on people, if you let 1 second of witnessing male annatomy (although I admit, on Farva it is particularly disgusting) ruin a movie for you, you need to just chill out. This is a movie I'm going to buy as soon as it's out on dvd and in the meantime I'll be looking for anything else written by the person who did the screneplay.
