This was the buzz-record, only patchily available, that initially drew U.S. buffs' attention to Diblo. Diblo, Loketo's leader, is a former sidekick of Kanda Bongo Man, with whom he still records, and a sparkling guitarist. On this, his first solo recording, he was backed by zouk keyboard heavy Ronald Rubinel as well as Loketo itself. No-frills punch was the watchword.
