The SoCal trip-hop outfit Sunset Room formed in the late '90s when founding members James Flores (drums) and Tim Rumbaugh (bass) decided to bring their love for Portishead and Morcheeba to the forefront. Experimenting with elements of jazz, electronica, and acoustics, Sunset Room was made a trio when vocalist Catie Moore was added to the fold in 1998.
