Garrett Soucy, the Belfast, Mainebased frontman of the contemporary Christian folk rock act Tree By Leaf, teamed up with producer Andrew Luckless to form Sunlight in Architecture in 2005. Formulating a wobbly, rustic sound that nodded to secular indie acts like Bon Iver, Grizzly Bear, and Bonnie "Prince" Billy, the duo released their selftitled debut album via Long Ago Light three years later.
