Not the Subhumans from Vancouver, who would later give birth to the seminal hardcore outfit D.O.A., these Subhumans were a different hardcore group hailing from the southwest of England. Highly influenced by the Sex Pistols at the outset of their career, the band was formed in 1980 by Bruce (guitar/vocals), Grant (bass), and Andy (drums).
