Pro Reviews: Style Council Collection

  • All Music Guide

Not a strict greatest hits, The Style Council Collection balances some of the group's biggest singles with some relatively obscure album tracks. Like the band itself, the album loses steam toward the end but the best songs here -- "My Ever-Changing Moods," in particular -- prove that, contrary to popular belief, the Style Council wasn't a complete waste of Paul Weller's time and that he did explore some new territory with the group.
