Pros: "Slow Jams". You Can't Beat Melvin Riley On A Ballad.

    Cons: "Uptempo". They're Just O.K.

If You're A Ready For The World Fan As I Am, You Know That They're Strong Suit Is The Ballads. The Uptempo Tracks Are Not Bad Either. This CD Is A Collecter's Item In My Opinion!

Pro Reviews: Straight Down to Business

  • All Music Guide

Ready For The World couldn't recapture their mid-'80s magic with this early-'90s set. They were out of touch with the changes on the black music scene and couldn't adapt to hip-hop, New Jack, or dancehall. They also sounded disorganized, and had substandard material and production as well. This was a dismal effort from one of the hottest groups of the mid-'80s.
