    Some of these songs Stephen has done live or on other earlier recordings. The standout track is "Treetop Flyer" which retains all the spark from his performances with CSN in the Ninties. The Freddie Neil tune is also an excellent performance. Stephen... had not done a studio recording(stripped down or Unplugged) before this. A must for any CSN fan or any Stills fan.     Pros: Crisp, Clean and Refreshing!!!

    It's ashame that it took Stephen Stills all these years to record a CD like this. This is his best work as a solo artist. There is feeling and movement in his music. If you love CS&Y or CSY&Y you will want this in your collection. It's a must... have for any true music fan. Read more Less

    This is the disc that Stephen Stills' fans always hoped he'd make. Stills Alone is just Stephen doing what he does the best, picking and singing in a style all his own. Put this on, and what you have is Stephen Stills in your living room playing your very own private concert. From Fred Neil's "Everybody's Talkin" to the Beatles' "In My Life," right on through to Stephen's own compositions, everything here seems to click. Of note is the sensational "Blind Fiddler Medley." From one of the veterans of the rock roll wars, Stephen Stills has put out a spectacular solo effort in the true sense of the word.
