    This band would have been so much better than Pearl Jam. This band probably would have been as good or better than my favorite band, Alice in Chains. R.I.P. Mr. Wood.

    greatest hits type of album

    This band had a very strange style, kinda like a crossover between the hard rock of the 80's and the grunge Seattle--style of the early nineties. There are lotsa nice melodies in this album. The guitars have a really rough sound and don't expect any... virtuosism. You'll like this cd but you'll grow tired of it fairly soon. Read more Less

    Andy Wood was the man. Mother Love Bone was a remarkable band. I love Mother Love Bone, and if you are thinking about buying this cd, please do so. And while you are at it pick up any other Andy Wood material you can get your hands on. Andy's first ...band, Malfunkshun also released an LP, and it rocks. Andy was so incredibly talented, I still sometimes get chills when I am listening to Stargazer, Man of Golden Words, or Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns. Can't wait for the movie on Andy later this year. Remember....Love Rock Awaits You People. Read more Less

    One of the best rock-n-roll/
    glam/
    metal/
    alternative bands and albums of all time! These guys would have been HUGE. Eddie Veder doesn't have half the talent the late, great Andrew Wood had.
