    This band would have been so much better than Pearl Jam. This band probably would have been as good or better than my favorite band, Alice in Chains. R.I.P. Mr. Wood.

    Released after the phenomenal success of Pearl Jam, Mother Love Bone collects everything Mother Love Bone ever released. Their resurrection of the epic hard rock of the 1970s was quite good, but also derivative. While Wood was a fine singer, he wasn't a very original vocalist and often sounded very similar to Robert Plant. Mother Love Bone is the definitive collection of the band and worth the time of fans of Pearl Jam and the Seattle scene.
